Job profile

As Data Integration Consultant, you will be contributing to the quality of the data structure and make a contribution to improving the management of organisations.
The work focuses on the design, development and configuration of Data Warehouse, Data Integration environments and ETL procedures. In addition, you will be asked to provide analyses and advice on the structuring and management of data collections (Data Quality consultancy). The Data Integration Consultant bridges the gap between organisational management issues, on the one hand, and Data Integration concepts, technologies and tools that are used to make high quality, accurate data available, on the other hand. You will be the consultant, analyst, modeller and implementer in the area of ETL, data quality, metadata, data models, migration and integration issues.

What we are looking for

  • Enterprising and ambitious consultants with HBO-level (Higher Professional Education) or WO-level (Scientific Education) education and a background in (Operational) Information Science or Business Administration;
  • Three or more years of experience in Data Integration projects;
  • Thorough knowledge of Data Integration Tools such as SQL Server Integration Server, Powercenter, BODI or Descion Stream;
  • Knowledge of RDBMS or MDBMS environments;
  • Well-developed communication and social skills;
  • Analytical capabilities and a proactive approach;
  • You are able to communicate the advantages of a Data Warehouse and of correct and timely management information;
  • You have sufficient consulting experience to be able to disentangle business processes, but also have the knowledge and experience that is needed to structure the architecture of a reporting environment soundly and technically perfect.
