Stichting Zorggroep Noordwest Veluwe (ZNWV) is a foundation that provides care services in Harderwijk, Ermelo, Putten and the surrounding area. The foundation wanted to modernise its IT infrastructure not only to assure continuity but also to enable full implementation of electronic patient records. Virtualisation of the servers and applications was supposed to simplify management and make it more proactive. The new environment had to meet several requirements: it had to provide greater flexibility, reduce complexity, limit the costs and assure greater availability. QNH worked on the project in collaboration with RealOpenIT and Tectrade and was responsible for the overall project management and execution and monitoring of the implementation of the Microsoft, Citrix and RES environment.
